Speaking from experience it is VERY exciting having a baby girl after a boy. Boys are like little spinning tops, always on the move and busy busy busy. I’m sure there are many exceptions to the rule but in our house anyways, our daughter is calm and observant, playful, sensitive and kind. Though I love them equally there is something special about these little dolls who we get to dress up and cuddle to our hearts content, because our boys are simply to busy to cuddle right now mom!

Congratulations on your new baby girl Doerksen family!

This little baby boy was a pleasure to have in my studio for newborn photos this past month. It’s obvious how much his family has fallen in love with him. Big brother was so proud of his new baby and we were able to get the coveted sibling photos that so many parents hope and pray for. Two and three year olds aren’t always so excited to lay still and smile for photos with their baby brother or sister so having a fast camera and a few jokes up my sleeve come in quite handy!

I gasped when I caught a glimpse of this little one when she entered my newborn photography studio in Sherwood Park. She was squishy and sweet with the most gorgeous little lips. Hard to pick just a few images to share.

No matter how many times a week I have babies come through my studio doors, it never ceases to amaze me how small they are. This little girl was no exception, in fact she was super tiny. Super sleepy, super tiny, super adorable. Loved every minute with her <3
